About Port of Dubrovnik (Gruž)
The Dubrovnik Port Authority limits cruise passengers to around 8,000 a day on most days; with the county port authority it books on a ‘2+1’ principle, two large ships at Gruž and one in front of the Old Town. From the port, Libertas buses reach Pile in 10–15 minutes and run every 10–20 minutes; taxis wait in front of the terminal, and the ride takes 7–10 minutes (portdubrovnik.hr, October 2026).
