Riverside Luxury Cruises: Our Cruise Line Guide

A young line, launched in 2022, with four all-suite ships named after composers: Riverside Mozart on the Danube, Ravel on the Rhône and Saône, Debussy on the Rhine and Mahler on the Rhine and Danube. The fleet

Who it suits. On a budget: Short itineraries make Riverside approachable: a four-day Passau to Wachau escape or a five-day Habsburg-capitals cruise is a taste of a 5-star ship, and even the smallest suite (from 18–20 m²) has a king-size bed, a marble bathroom and a butler. Mid-range: A mid-category suite on Riverside Ravel for the food and wine of the Rhône and Saône, or a wine-themed Danube sailing through the Wachau on Riverside Mozart. Luxury: The largest suites, of 70 and 82 m² (753 and 883 sq ft), with the Vintage Room’s six- to seven-course wine-paired dinner for up to 12 guests on selected evenings.
