About Port of Galveston
Almost 4 million passengers a year pass through Galveston’s four cruise terminals (10, 16, 25 and 28), and the port is negotiating a fifth at Pier 14. The port is 45 minutes from open sea; Houston’s Hobby Airport is the closest, about a 45-minute drive, and George Bush Intercontinental suits international flights (portofgalveston.com, October 2026).
