The back story
Viking Ocean Cruises·In depth
A river company that went to sea in 2015 with one idea: small, quiet, all-veranda ships for travellers who come for the destination.
The fleet
Who it suits. On a budget: First-time cruisers who want one fare to cover flights from London, transfers, an excursion in almost every port, wine and beer with lunch and dinner, Wi-Fi and gratuities. A standard Veranda Stateroom (288 sq ft) gives you the same ship as every suite. Mid-range: Penthouse Veranda (360 sq ft) or Penthouse Junior Suite (432 sq ft), with earlier boarding and priority bookings at Manfredi’s and The Chef’s Table. Luxury: The Explorer Suites (808–1,215 sq ft) and the 1,448 sq ft Owner’s Suite, with the Silver Spirits beverage package included, a private car and driver in a port of your choice, and first priority at the spa.
