About Port of Piraeus: the cruise terminals

The Piraeus Port Authority (PPA S.A.) runs the cruise terminals on the port’s cruise piers; your line’s documents name the terminal and gate. Greece’s cruise-passenger fee applies here as at every Greek port of call: it is set by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy and varies by port and season (ynanp.gr). Central Athens and the Acropolis are a short taxi or metro ride away; see our Athens guide.

Why it's on our list

  • Home port for the Greek Islands
  • Greek cruise-passenger fee: set by the ministry, by port and season
  • Our Athens guide for a night ashore

Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Port of Piraeus: the cruise terminals before you go.
