About Geiranger

Geiranger Port, run by Stranda Hamnevesen, lies deep inside the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord. It offers a cruise terminal, the SeaWalk floating gangway that lets guests walk straight ashore, and three anchorage positions for ships that tender. Hellesylt, at the other end of the fjord, is part of the same port authority.

Why it's on our list

  • SeaWalk straight to shore
  • Three anchorages for tendering
  • The Norwegian Fjord Centre in the village

Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Geiranger before you go.
