The Greater Baths National Park

About Virgin Gorda: The Baths

The Greater Baths National Park is known for its great boulders of granodiorite, a coarse-grained igneous rock formed from the slow cooling of magma deep beneath the island arc, as the National Parks Trust of the Virgin Islands explains. Park entry and rules are set by the Trust (bvinpt.org).

Why it's on our list

  • Granite boulders, pools and grottoes
  • Managed by the BVI National Parks Trust
  • Best on a small ship

Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Virgin Gorda: The Baths before you go.
