Ships anchor and tender

About Komodo National Park

Indonesia’s official tourism site says ships anchor at the nearest point to the park and tender passengers in, with landings limited by the number of rangers on shore. Rinca and Padar, with its famous ridge-top view, are part of the park; Labuan Bajo on Flores is the nearest town.

Why it's on our list

  • Ranger-led walks to see the dragons
  • Padar’s ridge-top view
  • Rinca Island
  • Labuan Bajo for weaving and Flores coffee

Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Komodo National Park before you go.
