About Matur og Drykkur
The restaurant takes its name from Helga Sigurðardóttir’s book Matur og drykkur, one of the most influential in Icelandic food culture, and serves a menu that changes with the seasons, using local produce, wild herbs and seaweed. The menu was 24,500 ISK and the premium wine pairing 22,600 ISK (maturogdrykkur.is, Oct 2026).
