About Regent Seven Seas Cruises: the back story

Regent Seven Seas Cruises sails six all-suite ships for 496 to 748 guests, with Seven Seas Prestige, for 818, due in December 2026. Its fares include unlimited shore excursions, all specialty dining, drinks, Wi-Fi and pre-paid gratuities.

All in, ashore too

Many luxury lines include the drinks and the tips; Regent Seven Seas Cruises goes further and includes unlimited shore excursions. The fare also covers every specialty restaurant, unlimited Wi-Fi, valet laundry, pre-paid gratuities and, from Concierge Suites upwards, a night in a hotel before the cruise. Upgrade to the Ultimate All-Inclusive Fare and economy flights are included too, with business class for guests in the Regent Suite.

The fleet

Regent’s ships divide into generations. Seven Seas Navigator (496 guests), Mariner (704) and Voyager (700) are the classic all-suite ships, almost all with balconies. Seven Seas Explorer and Seven Seas Splendor (748 guests each) and Seven Seas Grandeur (746), delivered at Ancona in November 2023 and christened in Miami that December, form the Explorer class, with suites from 307 sq ft. In December 2026 comes Seven Seas Prestige, the first of a new class in a decade: 818 guests, 409 suites and 76,550 tons.

Nobody Does All-Inclusive Better.

The Regent Suite

At the bow of Seven Seas Grandeur, Splendor and Explorer sits the Regent Suite, Regent’s most exclusive address at sea, with a glass-enclosed sitting area over the bow and wraparound balconies. Its primary bathroom is a spa retreat, with a treatment area, full sauna, heated loungers and a heated mini-pool, a first for any cruise ship according to Regent; guests also have a private car and driver in every port and two treatments a day at Serene Spa & Wellness.

The table

Compass Rose, the largest restaurant on each ship, lets you customise your meal; Chartreuse serves modern French cooking, Prime 7 is the steakhouse, and Pacific Rim brings Pan-Asian dishes to the Explorer-class ships. Each night La Veranda becomes Sette Mari for Italian dinners. Seven Seas Prestige adds Azure, with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern sharing plates, and Solmar Terrace by day. Culinary Arts Kitchen classes run on Prestige and the Explorer-class ships.

Where Regent sails

The fleet sails worldwide, with Mediterranean seasons from Athens (Piraeus), Rome (Civitavecchia) and Barcelona, Caribbean winters from Miami and long journeys between them. Seven Seas Prestige’s first Caribbean voyages from Miami begin in January 2027.

Our advice: weigh the fare against what it includes, because excursions every day add up quickly on other lines; and if you want the newest ship, book early, as some of Seven Seas Prestige’s first voyages are already waitlisted.
