Global Ports Holding, in partnership with the Puerto Rico Ports Authority, is redeveloping San Juan Cruise Port in a $425 million project. The Old San Juan District, with Piers 3 and 4, is the gateway to the historic city; Pier 4 handles both transit and homeport calls. The Panamerican Piers East and West, across the bay, are built for large-scale homeport operations (sanjuancruiseport.com, October 2026).
